The integration of AI into applied sport psychology introduces a new frontier of ethical challenges that are more complex and carry higher stakes than those faced in traditional practice. The power of these technologies to collect and act upon sensitive personal data necessitates the development of a robust governance framework. This framework should be built on integrity, and professional accountability to ensure that these powerful tools are used to empower and protect athletes.
